Literacy Interventionist & Analytics Manager
About the Role
Talent Vision is partnering with a public charter school network to recruit a Literacy Intervention & Analytics Manager. This is a hands-on, data-driven role that blends instructional leadership, program management, and assessment analytics to accelerate literacy outcomes for elementary students. The Manager will design and oversee schoolwide literacy interventions, lead progress monitoring systems, coach teachers and interventionists on evidence-based literacy practices, and translate assessment data into actionable strategies for instruction and family engagement.
Core Responsibilities
-
Program design & implementation: Develop, refine, and scale multi-tiered literacy intervention programs (MTSS/RtI) aligned to state standards and school curriculum. Create clear protocols for screening, diagnostics, targeted interventions, and progress monitoring.
-
Data systems & analytics: Lead the design and ongoing management of assessment systems, databases, and dashboards to track student literacy growth (phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension). Produce timely reports and visualizations to inform teacher practice and leadership decisions.
-
Instructional coaching: Provide job-embedded coaching, modeling, and professional development for classroom teachers and interventionists on evidence-based literacy instruction and small-group intervention techniques.
-
Assessment & progress monitoring: Administer or oversee universal screenings and diagnostic assessments, interpret results, set growth targets, and ensure fidelity of progress-monitoring protocols for targeted students.
-
Student supports & intervention caseloads: Manage a caseload of students receiving intensive literacy interventions as needed, deliver small-group instruction, and coordinate transition plans between tiers of support.
-
Family & community engagement: Communicate assessment results and intervention plans to families; design family-facing materials and workshops to support literacy development at home.
-
Collaboration & leadership: Partner with school leaders, grade-level teams, special education and English learner specialists to align instruction, interventions, and assessment practices across classrooms.
-
Quality assurance & continuous improvement: Monitor program fidelity, analyze outcome data to evaluate effectiveness, and lead iterative improvements to intervention strategies and materials.
-
Compliance & recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of assessments, intervention plans, attendance, and student progress following school and district policies.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in Literacy, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Leadership, Applied Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
-
Valid state teaching certification preferred; candidates with strong literacy intervention experience and relevant credentials (e.g., Reading Specialist, LETRS training) encouraged to apply.
-
Minimum of 3–5 years of classroom teaching experience with at least 2 years leading literacy interventions, assessment systems, or instructional coaching preferred.
-
Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based literacy practices across the science of reading (phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension) and experience delivering small-group interventions.
-
Strong data literacy: experience designing assessments, building dashboards, analyzing longitudinal student data, and translating findings into classroom interventions and leadership recommendations.
-
Proficiency with student information systems, assessment platforms, and common analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, data visualization tools). Experience with SQL or statistical software is a plus.
-
Excellent coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills; culturally responsive approach and commitment to equity for multilingual learners and students with disabilities.
-
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced school environment.
Compensation & Benefits
-
Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
-
Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and retirement options.
-
Opportunities for professional development, leadership growth, and collaborative work with instructional teams across the Talent Vision network.
